She uses contemplative interventions, creative exploration, transpersonal psychology and developmental awareness in her work. Jody works to support the value of learning from different peoples, natural landscapes and cultures. Drawing on contemplative based training, Jody creates an atmosphere of understanding and genuine sensitivity without judgment.

Jody has worked with a wide diversity of populations and settings, both with individuals and groups. These include wilderness work with emotionally challenged youth at risk, addictions treatment for teens, crisis service work, work in shelters, support for the homeless and leading workshops for families. 

Education/Training/Professional Associations:
  • Master's degree from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado
  • Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario
  • Wilderness First Responder
  • First Aid C with AED
