Our psychotherapists are trained in a number of different treatment modalities. Depending on your needs you will be matched with a suitable clinician and form of treatment. We make this determination based on a comprehensive intake done prior to your first visit.
This list is not exhaustive, but does highlight some of the forms of treatment we can offer.
General modalities:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adlerian Therapy, Jungian Analysis, Client Centered Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Modalities for Trauma:
Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) are front-line trauma treatments, and we have a number of trained clinicians in these areas. See the American Psychological best practice guidelines for trauma treatment.
Children modalities:
Emotional Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Family Based Therapy (FBT), Collaborative and Proactive Solutions Model (CPS based on Dr. Ross Green's theory), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) Dialectical Behavior therapy, Narrative therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy.
