Laura Kennedy, M.Sc., M.Psy.
Psychological Associate
Laura is a Registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behavioural Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO), holding autonomous competency in clinical psychology across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults). She earned her M.Sc. from Trent University and her M.Psy. from Adler Graduate Professional School.
In her assessment practice, Laura specializes in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, including psychoeducational assessments and diagnostic assessments for ADHD, OCD, and autism across all age groups. She possesses extensive experience collaborating with educators, physicians, and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver thorough, integrated, and compassionate care.
In her therapeutic practice, Laura supports neurodivergent individuals and those navigating mental health disorders, emotional distress, anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, identity exploration, and life transitions. She utilizes a collaborative, evidence-based framework, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), to meet each client's unique needs. Laura is dedicated to creating a warm, nonjudgmental, and safe space where individuals can explore their feelings, build lasting resilience, and achieve their personal goals.
