Rachelle's practical experience has progressed from employment in the hospital psychology setting, to community mental health programs working with eating disorder clients and their families, to providing private individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. She integrates components from a range of psychotherapy models. These include: insight oriented therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Family Based therapy (FBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT).

Rachelle works with adults, adolescents and children who are seeking support in coping with life's challenges with particular interest in the areas of anxiety, depression and personal growth. Her approach to therapy is focused on providing a supportive, collaborative, and empowering environment for clients, allowing them to build upon their strengths and move towards achieving their personal and relationship goals. Rachelle's strength is in her natural ability to connect with clients and tailor a therapeutic program specific to their individual needs.

  • B.A. Psychology and Child and Family Studies from Guelph University
  • Registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
  • M.A. in Counselling Psychology from the Adler Professional School Psychology
  • Member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).
