Cheryl Wood is a registered psychotherapist with over 6 years of clinical experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges.  She

holds a BA degree in psychology, a master’s degree in counselling psychology and meets all the supervisor requirements set by the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)

Cheryl is passionate about both clinical work and the opportunity to guide new and developing psychotherapists in their professional journey.  As a supervisor Cheryl strives to create a warm, supportive and collaborative space to explore challenges, celebrate process and deepen your therapeutic competence. 

Cheryl’s approach emphasizes reflective practices, ethical integrity and

integration of theory with practical application.

Cheryl’s areas of expertise include:

  • Trauma focused therapy: Trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and EMDR. 
  • Experience treating first responders with PTSD.
  • Evidence based approaches include CBT, EFT, IFS and psychodynamic theory.
