Elizabeth Hack, Psy.D., RP, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Elizabeth (Liz) Hack is a Registered Psychotherapist and Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience. She holds a doctoral degree in psychology and meets all supervision requirements set by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Liz brings a warm, constructive, and affirming supervision style that empowers therapists to build confidence, combat imposter syndrome, and develop their own unique clinical voice. She is deeply committed to fostering a safe and compassionate environment where supervisees can explore challenges, celebrate growth, and continually advance in their practice.

Her areas of expertise include:

  • Trauma-focused therapy: Certified consultant and provider of Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy; trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
  • Evidence-based approaches: Incorporates elements from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, emotion-focused therapy, and collaborative problem solving
  • Specialization in first responders: Extensive experience in treating first responders with PTSD, complex trauma, and related issues
