As a qualified therapist in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Chantel provides trauma therapy to adults with PTSD, including first responders, military members and veterans. With a foundation in harm reduction philosophy, she also has experience in providing addictions support for those who struggle with alcohol use, substance use, and gambling concerns, as well as addressing concerns in anxiety and depression. Her experience ranges from working in community supports, as well as in inpatient programs, and she utilizes strategies in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), relapse prevention, and CPT. Chantel believes in meeting clients where they are at, and uses a collaborative approach to conceptualize and enact a treatment plan that is realistic and manageable for meeting client needs.
