Pre-employment Assessment
Screening services involve group assessments of up to 8 candidates per session. Multiple days of assessment can be conducted for larger groups. Assessments are done on site or at an arranged testing location. Candidates are provided with a set of psychometric tests delivered simultaneously in controlled conditions. Testing sessions typically last 3-4 hours total and are administered under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist.
Personality scores examine a candidate’s personal and interpersonal strengths as they relate to their profession of choice. Values assessment includes exploration of a candidate’s work ethic, conscientiousness, generosity, openness, and other important values unique to their work. Environmental factors review candidates’ demonstrated interests as they relate to public safety in addition to their degree of current social support, help-seeking styles, and willingness to relate and care for others.
Psychological interviews are conducted by a clinical psychologist. These interviews include an in-depth review of the candidate’s background, genetic history, academic/work experience, habits, and risk factors. In addition, further exploration in the areas of problem-solving, communication, motivation, interests, interpersonal style, self-awareness, and sense of community are explored.
